After skiing since I was a child, I decided to learn snowbard this year. Quite a challenge at first, I never though having my feet stuck on a board would be possible without killing myself. But I liked it so much I will never touch a pair of ski ever again !!!
So this winter I went out for approx 8 times and learned quickly. I experienced different situations(nice pow, iced surfaces, moguls, etc) and I managed to like it all.
After spending hundreds of $$ in renting gear, I want to get one of my own now. So I searched the Web for great post-season deals, but I'm starting to be a little overflowed by all the stuff that's out there.
So I'm wondering if anyone could help me get an idea of the kind of board that would best suit me.
Here are some details about me :
- I'm 6'2", 190 lbs
- Shoe size approx 10.5
- I want a board that will help me get better without being obsolete too quickly
- I'm not planning to go in the park at all, so I'm looking for a freeride board.
I appreciate any advice from you guys, hope to hear from you soon !
Thanks !!
Larry Dee
